As a charitable organisation that relies upon public donations, supplemented by grants and membership fees, many of our groups depend upon volunteers to run smoothly. Volunteers become an integral part of the group and, indeed, we find that many volunteers also join in with the art and attend outings and social events, although this isn't by any means compulsory.

If you want to get involved with SODA in a hands-on way, you can become a volunteer helper for a local group, assisting with practical tasks, such as setting up tables and art equipment, or providing lifts to those without transportation. No matter the skill you have to offer, whether organisational or artistic, dealing with the money or making the tea, it's your generous donation of your time and your enthusiasm that really makes a difference, not only to the individuals within our groups, but also in supporting our work to make art accessible to all.

interested in giving your time, energy and enthusiasm to help SODA support and encourage disabled artists?
